Welcome back to the Small Business Summary…I’m pretty grumpy that the economy decided to get weird during Masters Week. This SHOULD be a week for tinkling pianos, piped-in bird sound effects, and an impossibly green landscape that gets my golfing muscles to a fever pitch. But, NOOOOOOOO, a global trade war had to break out. Thanks, a lot, governments.

What to do about the Tariffs…
It’s been a wild week watching the global economy freak out. We have heads of state flying to Washington D.C. and we have talking heads screaming everything from “this is self-imposed economic suicide,” to “this is the reset of the world financial markets in America’s favor.”
Here’s what we know for sure - we don’t know anything.
The Trump administration has said that this is just the first step of a multi-prong action that will also include tax cuts and deregulation. Who wouldn’t want lower taxes and less red tape? But, will that actually happen? Who knows?!?!
Gazillion dollar hedge fund managers are huddled in their offices searching for answers, so what chance do we have to correctly guess where this will end up?
No chance.
So, what do we do? I believe there is only ONE THING we must do - right now:
Where did you get your last great VA?
WTM: Every small business owner should have a contractor/virtual assistant to help you get more stuff done. But, finding a good one can feel like a crapshoot. Sometimes you can get referred to a solid provider and other times you’re playing the “Wheel of Upwork,” to see if you can get lucky with a virtual person. I’ve had good and bad experiences from both and the question is something I think we must collaborate to solve. So, where did you find your last GOOD VA?
