WTM: I’ll never forget hearing Morrissey and the Smiths for the first time. My way cooler than me friends were listening to them and I thought “that’s the most ridiculous singer I’ve ever heard!” Within 48 hours I was absolutely hooked on Morrissey’s style and I still take great joy in singing along loudly and badly every chance I get.
